The BEST sausages in the world! But I HATE waiting in line
The line out the door is huge, and the wait can be upwards of an hour and a half, but I've waited in that line in the snow and in the heat, and I would do it again! The dude that usually takes orders (I'm assuming he's the owner) is super friendly. The Teubin is my favorite (Reuben dog), and you gotta go on Friday or Saturday for Duck Fat Fries! Not very much seating inside, but it the tables surprisingly empty at a rate that's pretty appropriate for the speed of the line. I would move back to Chicago just to eat at Hot Doug... read more
