Still one of my most favorite restaurants in the city!
We've been here before and had the best meal of our lives, so we really looked forward to going back. My salad was small and average; I was still hungry, not good for a $14 salad. My daughter wanted a chocolate dessert and there was nothing on the menu without some fruit of some sort. So she ordered the plate of cookies which was disappointing. We've been long time customers of Hot Chocolate; I even had my Bachelorette party there. Unfortunately, today we had the worst customer service at brunch. We were seated at the bar the same time as two other couples. We waited for over 35 minutes to get my coffee, and a total of 50 minutes to get our food. Basically, the people who were seated the same time as us, ate, paid the bill, and left before we even got our food. I truly am a loss for words. Everything from the food, the service, the atmosphere, the DRINKS was on point. Been trying to go here for some time now and finally did. Everything was perfect! Thanks guy!
We had the grilled shrimp salad and donuts with passion fruit cream....wonderful!
