i would like to thank all the staff at hospitality house for allowing my aint etoy to come and volunteer there fir the last few years of her life. This place was a GREAT asset to our lives as I would come and sit and talk with my aunt and the staff frequently on my breaks from work in the area. HH had allowed my aunt to have a purpose after retirement from being an RN in private practice and keep her busy...amongst other things. Everyone treated her like she was family and you guys also became a positive topic in our family ... read more
If you need shelter. It is a great place to be. Only 25 people. And at the time i was there great staff. So when your name comes up on the 311 shelter list. And h h is one of the choices. Jump on it. You won't regret it.
An amazing SF non-profit that provides a supportive community, space and structure for developing emerging artists and San Francisco’s only homeless shelter for ex-Felons. They take a firm no-nonsense approach that strives to help individuals regain a footing in their life and the tools, the community support and the space to heal and focus on the goals that are important to them!
I stumbled upon this place as a tourist, but I am so glad I did! I got some fabulous art and supported some amazing humans. Keep doing good things, HH!
An caring approach to meeting the needs of disenfranchised people, homeless and poor. Healthy, uplifting and supportive approach. Core principles of community advocacy and healing.
Hospitality House is a huge asset for San Francisco. The programs they provide, including case management, community organizing, arts and even a homeless shelter provide critical services for the homeless and many others. They focus on serving the Tenderloin and mid Market Street communities. I first learned of this agency over a decade ago and have personally benefited from their programs. I give Hospitality House highest ratings.
One of San Francisco's true gems for more than 50 years!
Amazing one of a kind organization that not only gives so much community, but has the sweetest staff that actually cares about helping and getting to know people. No one does what they do and I’m grateful to be a part of the planning committee!
Business response:
Thank you for your kind words, Jentri! We are so grateful for your involvement with The House!
As a member of the planning committee, I have gained more and more insight into the ways that Central City Hospitality House is not only committed to serving some of the most vulnerable populations in the city, but also the ways in which the staff's immense compassion and hard work give way to progressive change, making for an overall well-rounded, adept and unique organization.
Business response:
Thank you so much, Amber. We are so fortunate for your involvement with Hospitality House and the endless effort you put into our events! <3
