Treat each patient according to their needs vs textbook standards. My mother suffered more in her final days in Hospice than she ever did prior to her admittance.
RecommendedWONDERFUL place took very ,very good care of my mother in her last days after a severe stroke. They were exceptionally great with my dad and rest of our family.

Hand delivering the donations that we received for the Hospice Alliance & Hospice Alliance Foundation. In addition dropping off LifeSaver Mints, treats, and flowers to help brighten the days of the current families who happen to be in their presence now. Our 11 days there were long, but short and every moment day or night we were extremely well taken care of. The kindness of the staff is what comes to mind at first, but there was so much knowledge and information that they imparted that we didn't even realize we needed. The most touching part is that the Hospice staff is willing to take your hand as you go on an unimaginable journey, and having a hand to hold makes it so much less terrifying.
My mother was in hospice at Brookdale. Though it was only a very short time, I thank you for the compassionate and competent service for my mother. It is so much appreciated and is very valuable service to those families whose loved one is at the end of their life. The Nurses Aide that was there was very sweet and very good at what she did.
I want to thank two specific employees - night nurse Michelle, who not only helped our Tom, but also really helped my mother and I understand what was happening (and that it was normal), and how best to handle it. The other person was Jackie, who came in and instantly connected with Tom, and helped him through a difficult part of his journey. The two of them are angels. The care that my friend receives at Hospice is so heartwarming. He can hardly speak, but they communicate with him by hand gestures and writing notes. I am comfortable with the TLC that he receives there every day...both physically and spiritually. Thank you so very much. �
