I enjoyed my 2 years at their summer ridge property in lake mills, but I am SOOO disappointed in this company. Id advise to rent elsewhere... not any Horizon Properties. They take your money from security deposit and lie. I have never been charged a cleaning fee at any apartment i have ever rented from. I spent 8:30am -1:30pm on 8/30/25 cleaning and our move out was 8/31/25. How sad that I have to post a 2 star review after having lived there for terrific, enjoyable 3 years. Nice apartment, nice people, fun activities and so many other great things. It all sours with a security deposit problem. We finally got it back (full amount) after 42 days which should have been 21 days. I was patient and never even asked about it for over a month. Would NOT recommend any properties ran by Horizon. You call, email and dont get any response to resolve issues you're having. If you need/like having internet AVOID this company. They source INCOMPETENT out of state contractors to be internet support which you can only communicate with via text message. The “support” is horrible. I have had issues with my internet since I moved in and have been without internet for 2 weeks now and lost my job because of it. Internet that i pay for every month. -THE POINT AT WASHINGTON
I have ran you a problem with a request to park a new 3 wheel scooter in the garage with the other scooters. I was told that because the scooter is unlicensed that I can't park there. I am handicapped, unable to walk without assistance, any haven't had a driver's license for 10 years. I find there reason for not honoring my request troubling. Just took over so far found them to be customer unfriendly with elderly . Not impressed. I see that others feel the same. I think they believe they can bully the seniors. UPDATE AFTER A FEW YEARS NOW 2024...The residents are ignored, no one ever responds to emails or phone messages!! You can not leave a message on their service. The worst customer service ever! Quite frankly I don't think they know what they are doing. A lot of turnover.
