Had a wonderful experience with Horizon Ford-- Ryan, especially. The band I work for has been in the market for a Transit for a while, but we didn’t fully understand what we were looking at, and didn’t know what exactly we needed. Ryan was the first person I talked to (out of many other dealerships) that explained the difference int wheelbase to me, and we ended up purchasing from him a few weeks later!

The positive encounters I had at Horizon Ford was the salesman Max. He was a no pressure very informative salesman. Also the office staff and finance manager were very nice and got my paperwork and loan processed in a reasonable amount of time with no hassles. What I don’t like is the car was very dirty with stains on the upholstery. I was assured if my son brought the car back it would get cleaned and detailed. My son did take the car back the very next day and all they did was wash and vacuum it. The upholstery and carpet ... read more

So far, our salesman, Max, the young fellow in the service dept. on Ambaum Ave., Joseph, and the young woman in the finance office have been the very few positives we have encountered in purchasing a Transit van. There were a few things that needed fixing on this van, which is still under warranty, and there were and are questions that we asked from the very beginning, that they gave us assurances that they could handle. Disappointing service. I had to come back day after day due to their delay getting Ford parts (they’re a dealer??) for my F150 - one of the most common vehicles on the road. I paid over $2k for a full brake job and the rear brakes failed 14k miles later, but more than their 2 yr warrantee, and they wouldn’t stand behind their work. Wanted to charge me another $1100 to fix it. This is a customer lost for life. Had a great buying experience when purchasing a used truck from Horizon Ford. My salesman was Frank Wilcher III. He was a very relaxed and no pressure guy. He let the product sell itself. My purchase was a used vehicle that they had taken in on trade. It is a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 Laramie. I had previously looked at and driven 3 others before test driving this one. I finally had call Gap insurance company myself and they cancelled since horizon would not.Horizon stated to me twice it takes up to 4 weeks to process your refund and the Gap insurance company said that is not true it takes them 24 hours on there end and horizon needs to send my check! Horizon sales manager started pretending he can't hear me on other line when I call him and his salesman calls would just hang up on me all of a sudden wow !
