The apartment is beautiful and suspicious, however, my apartment #404 has serious mice problem. I constantly see mice in my apartment, sometimes twice a day. Told the manager, they called pest control but nothing was changed. They gave me a ridiculous reason in the end, almost implying the mice issues because I bake in my kitchen. I know there are only few good and reasonable apartments around the campus, if you are choosing Hopkins house, DON’T live in#404.
RecommendedI lived at Hopkins House about 5 years ago with my brother! I only come by now to deliver packages, they have made some upgrades and renovations and the leasing office staff is still as friendly as I remember just with new faces!!!
We evacuated the premises at 11:45 PM on 4/14/2017 due to a fire that could have been avoided if the management paid more attention to the broken water pipe. The building is out of power and is not allowed to live until the power restoration that said to be finished in 1-3 weeks. Today is 4/17/2017, the management has replied that they'll not take care of our accommodation from tomorrow. Over 300 people will not have a place to stay from then, and the management has not provided a solution nor compensation yet!
Noob apartment manager, stupid arrangement for the emergency problem. We become homeless and Hopkins House Apartments officials just ask us to get help from our own insurance. It is not our duty to deal with the foolish construction problem!
