ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIANCE EVER DO NOT go to this store. They will tell you anything to gain your business, then treat you like crap when something goes wrong. Bought my bridal dress from this store and the dress came in wrong with the wring hem. They would not be liable for anything. They were EXTREMELY RUDE and I will never go back there again. I had to spend my wedding day with a screwed up dress that I paid 2,000 for. HORRIBLE STORE.
Negative Stars Needed If I could give negative stars, I would. I really think the people that gave good reviews either work for Hope's or own Hope's. Hope's service is awful. I am a bridesmaid and went there for the bride, however, as soon as I walked in I wanted to walk out. The place is literally COVERED in carpet. It's the BEST Hope's has the best selection, the kindest staff, and the most fun experience for bridal and prom shopping that I have found in Iowa. We've been there for for multiple occassions, and my family and friends will continue to go back, because they can't be beat. They CAN be incredibly busy at times, but that's because the shop is so great. If it's important to you to have a quiet, one-on-one experience, I'd recommend going in the middle of the week.
Best Place to get a dress I knew the minute I got engaged the only place I wanted to get my dress at was at Hope's. The minute that I walked in the door that it was the right place for me. The staff was very courteous to me even though I was larger they had dresses that fit me. I got my dress and my bridesmaids all got their dresses their too. Thank you for all that you did to make my day so special.
The Pink Barn Hope's has a large selection of dresses and they are very helpful. I had a picture of the dress I wanted and they didn't have it in the store but they were able to order it for me and it came in no time. They helped me find everything I needed and they were really nice. I would definitely recommend them!
NIce selection of dresses Hopes bridal has a nice selection of gowns. They also offer tuxedo's, flower girl items, ring bearer items, jewelry, and invitations. They also allow you to make payments on your purchases, that's nice. The only thing is that they are a little out of the way if you live in Cedar Rapids, but over all it's worth the trip.
Pink Barn! You can hardly miss the Pink Barn and house along Highway 30 as you are headed west from Cedar Rapids. This bridal boutique has been there for years! They have everything you could possibly want for a wedding. Gowns, veils, books, tuxedos, dresses for little girls, alterations, fittings, glasses and so much more. You just have to experience it.
Wow, as for the few that said negative things about Hopes Bridal,I disagree I had a wonderful experience while shopping for my prom dress at Hopes. There were times when the staff was so busy that they couldn't come right away to help me, but I understood, because once they came back they were very helpful. I had such a fun time shopping for my prom dress, I told my friend who was getting married to shop there, and she did. Guess what? She had a GREAT experience! Worst Ever I decided to give Hopes Bridal a chance after hearing not so great things. After all...I do have my own opinion but let me tell you!!! I did not get ANY help when I walked in there. They were not even that busy. I was told most dresses did not look good on me. KEEP THAT TO YOURSELF!! One of those dresses happened to be the one I bought....just not with them. A tip to the employees...Don't be so rude, we help provide your paychecks.
