Dr Hooper is very thorough of his assessment of our blood analysis results. We appreciate his directness as to our health condition and approve of his recommendations for any improvement actions. Excellent doctor!
Effective and precise
Discussed with him about a possible infection I had in my jaw. No visual contact with him at all and no antibiotics were given. Talked about my low energy level and his response was 'everybody's tired.' Asked him about a rash that I had that's very itchy and he looked at it but no further comments were made. I also told him about my arms and my shoulders bothering me and he said it doesn't make sense for him to send me to an orthopedic because I'm a self-pay. Dr. Hooper truly cares for his patients and does not just rush when seeing them. I personally tell others about him and how caring he is for his patients.
Dr. Hooper isn't about wasting time. He is about dealing with the ailment and getting a handle on it, as quickly as possible. If you are the type of person who prefers a straightforward style and efficient practice of medicine, Dr. Hooper is bar none in a class all his own.
Always seems disinterested and in a hurry to leave the room. I get the impression that he is just going thru the motions, get your prescriptions called in and get out of the room. He rarely asks questions and if you have any, be prepared to follow him down the hall to try to get an answer.
Dr. Hooper always seems aloof and somewhat disinterested. Appointments are rushed and I never leave feeling "he got me".
Not only was he rude, he continued to talk over me and gave me no help, he dismissed me and was very disrespectful and condescending! I couldn’t even explain my issue because he wanted to have control. He acts like he’s is better than you and doesn’t even give sound medical advice! Find a physician who cares because Joseph Hooper DOES NOT!!
Dr. Hooper has been my doctor for over ten years. He has never been disinterested in my medical issues. I have never experienced a negative or uncaring disposition in his conversation about my concerns. He is my children's doctor and I am a very concerned parent. He has compassionately addressed their needs and he is proactive with their care and my medical care. I give him five stars and I highly recommend him.
