Had the Shrimp and Grits here. Absolute garbage. Unseasoned shrimp on top of dry grits. If it’s closed permanently, good.
The last few times we have been, it was questionable whether or not the restaurant was even open. On the days it is open, the kitchen rarely is. On my final visit, I ordered a burger and fries to be safe. This was at dinner time on a Thursday night. The kitchen said it would be 20 minutes before the grease was ready to even start cooking. We were able to leave, drive to Walk Ons, order, and eat our food before the fries would have even been ready at Hook and Boil. very disappointed. I vouched for this place to some co-workers and needless to say, never again. shrimp tacos were gross and shrimp was raw/undercooked. Not to mentioned we have for no salsa and guess what, we had salsa on our tacos. The last time I went it was great, this time was horrible. I hope the owners care about their business and try to fix these issues.

Fish was okay. Rice and beans no flavor! Would not recommend.
We enjoyed our service from our server Camilla. The was very sweet and nice. She reason we wanted to leave is because the menu was very limited. It was not our server's fault whatsoever.
What’ s really going on????
They would be great if the were consistent. This place is hit or miss. I like it because it has good food and good craft beer. However, some nights, many taps are empty or they are out of some menu items. Also, call before you go. They close on random nights without warning.
