The menu here isn't incredibly long, but it will definitely be one of the most creative ones you ever come across with an ever-evolving list of burger combos. Do try their signature 1809 burger prepared with smoked gouda cheese and bacon along with a side of cheesy fries.

I have lived in California for over thirty years ! In and out Burger is the best out there . Honest Abe's is the best idea for a hamburger enthusiast ever! You should open a Chain . I love the food and the burgers are second to None! Sports like atmosphere is Awsome !
We live in Omaha but we were in Lincoln for the day. I asked on Facebook where a good place to have lunch would be and this place was suggested. Gave it a try and we loved it! I had the United States of America burger and the kids had cheeseburgers and fries. Everyone loved it. My son wished there were veggies on his burger. That would be the only suggestion we would have. Never disappointed, best burgers in town! If you havent tried abes yet you are missing out!
Good thing the line is long, because it took me awhile to determine which burger to try. When I visit Lincoln again, I will NOT leave town without stopping. I've ate a lot of burgers in my day and they have, by far, the best. When I bite in and the juice runs down my chin. . . That's a burger!!

Exactly what a restaurant should be - a memorable atmosphere, excellent and speedy service, a limited menu that offers high-quality, unique takes on food you've had a hundred times. I'm not much of a burgers and fries girl, and even though the Parmesan truffle fries and 1809 burger were a little on the greasy side, that kind of comes with the burgers and fries territory, and both were great. Abes knows how to make a burger! Since they moved to the far side of the building the place isn't always packed full now. Glad to see the bussiness expanding
First I found it a little pricey $10 for just the burger. Mine was totally pink inside. It wasn't a thick burger so I don't understand how it wasn't cooked through. Fries were okay.
