Our group of 4 stayed in the King Bedroom Suite. PROs: Location was great since it was 2 blocks from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Plenty of restaurants close by; Safeway and CVS across the street. The room was comfortable and clean with kitchenette and mid-sized refrigerator. Valet Parking was convenient and allowed us to keep car in garage until 3PM after check out at 11AM. Best hotel in prime location for all exhibits with complimentary breakfast and in room kitchen is an affordable amenities for family with young kids. The hotel staffs and receptionist so attentive and addressed our needs during the stay. Pls stay away from Tracy the manager if you have any questions about your stay
Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had. The valet actually yelled at us and another car because we didn't realize it was valet parking. ( P.s. most of Washington d.c is valet parking) And when we tried to ask how to turn around and where to go he just continued to yell at us to get out and it was valet. When I finally got out there were no directions on where to park. After we just pulled over on the side of the street he finally gave directions and was still rude. Oh man, where to start. Hottest week of the year and no AC in elevators and hallways for 4 days. No real urgency to fix it. Just shrugs. In town for conference and the only thing this had going for it, though staff are solid, was location. Lots to do see and eat, and very close to convention center. Now I sweat through my shirts and maybe even my suit partly, EVERY SINGLE DAY, getting from my room on the 12th floor to the lobby. Miserable experience.
