The hotel location is very good, 6 min walk to metro, 6 min walk to bus, 30 min walk to National Mall. Ther is Safeway across the road and a few restaurants. Our room was rather disappointing. Bed was comfortable, but had definitely seen better days as the headboard was peeling off and ripped in places. Bedding was in really poor condition, some simply beyond use. Sofa was in desperate need of change or at least steam cleaning. Kitchen was ok, although I failed to see the sense in having massive dishwasher for three plates. ... read more
I stayed with my two kids here Aug 13 to 15 upon arrival had been in Dc since 1pm got to hotel at 2pm asked attendant if I could go to room early if it was ready she checked the room said it wasn't ready so I had to wait.Tons of other guests were coming in with their bags it was around same time did not have to wait was sent up to their rooms.I asked the attendant again was like 15min later she still said wasn't ready at same time other guests were coming in going up to rooms A different attendant came to desk I asked her if... read more
Bed is ridiculously hard. Carpet and couch stained. Desk chair cushion coming apart. Kitchenette is nice. Shower is nice. Toilet is for a toddler so low! Breakfast fair.
This hotel has been a nightmare. We checked in yesterday and the man at the desk was incredibly rude. On top of that, we were booked in a room with a toilet & phone that did not work. After two incidents with the toilet, we were moved to a new suite. The suite they moved us to was a bit better, but it was not clean. There was hair in the shower, stains on the bathroom floor, no soap, and dirty dishes in the sink. Fantastic location and very walkable. Excellent staff. Delicious breakfast. Amazing rates. Clean room. Quiet property. Safe location. Great restaurants nearby.
