I stay at the Homewood Suites hotel in North Bay every year for work. This past fall, I stayed at Homewood on and off for two months. During a 10 night stay, I experienced a severe case of bed bugs that left me with 15 bites on my face, several bites on my neck, arms and hands. When bringing this up at the front desk I did not receive any apology, and after their reimbursement of two one-night stays, I tried calling, to which they refused to answer the phone, stating that they had already given me all they can offer. Nice family friendly hotel. Spacious rooms with kitchenette, fridge and microwave. Breakfast is excellent!
This hotel is in dire need of maintenance, especially regarding cleaning. The public areas are filthy, and the walls and floors are disgusting! I had a room for five people, but they only provided three towels for the shower. dust and greasy fingerprints everywhere in the room
