Good place to stay just outside Boston. Walkable to Alewife station (.8 mile). Felt safe with parking garage and neighborhood
We had a very comfortable stay. The staff is very friendly, room service is great and the breakfast included was very good.
The location is great, the breakfast was great but what really stands out is the AMAZING staff and service. We had some issues with the room and Melvin Torres was extremely accommodating. We never experienced anything like this before where everything that could have possibly been done, was and with a smile. We just dropped off our daughter at school and have 4 years of visits upon us - this will be the hotel we stay at over and over again!
I was really disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room had no air conditioning in the hallways which made it very uncomfortable, especially at night. On top of that, there was no daily room cleaning, cleaning is done every other day and they barely clean counters. Breakfast was another letdown—it ended far too early, to be clear it was over at 9am so unless you were up at the crack of dawn, you missed it. Stayed here for a little over 2 weeks and the STAFF is awesome. Very helpful and polite. Clean rooms and very well maintained. Breakfast was great! If you are into biking there is a Bluebikes station out front if not there are nearby bus stops that can take you to the T. CVS is right across the parking lot and the restaurant next door is good. Thanks for the great stay Homewood Suites.
