Homewood Away From Homewood Although I have never personally stayed here, I have known 2 families who stayed here temporarily while searching for a place in Asheville who said it was fine. Convenient location.
TERRIFIC BARGAIN FOR QUALITY For a reasonably-priced ($100/night, AARP discount) suite hotel in a tourist town, this place is first-rate! From check-in (friendly, fast, efficient in an attractive large lobby) thru check-out (bill slid under door before awakening, just like in business hotels in the big city), all our experiences there were good. This place is garbage. Management is garbage. I made a simple mistake online and booked the wrong date for a Friday night. When I showed up on Saturday, they were booked. And refused to give me a refund. They even refused to give me credit. As a loyal Hilton Honors member, I’m done using Homewood. And I’m done with Hilton. I’m canceling my membership. Done.
