We have been with Homewatch for 5 months now, and we've been really pleased with the service. Relieved, actually! Mom started needing some extra help at the end of last year, and since my sister and I are both working, we knew we needed to bring someone else in to make sure Mom was okay with day-to-day things, and making sure she has her oxygen on, etc. We started out with one caregiver, but are now with a young lady named Ledora, and she has been a great fit for my Mom. I've been using Homewatch CareGivers of Bakersfield for 4 months now (started in Oct 2025) and so far they've been very helpful!!! My Mom was diagnosed with Bulbar-Onset ALS 2 years ago and now she's starting to have trouble getting around and communicating. I live 3hrs away, so I have 3 different caretakers from Homewatch going to her house every week for just 2hrs/day (will increase as needed) and they are awesome.
