Horrible customer service. They intentionally ignore emails and phone calls to avoid helping their tenants.

Hometeam properties are truly terrible. They posted a unit on ********** that I wanted and said they’d take my voucher. I had the voucher solely based on the fact that I qualified for aging out of the system in 2013. They lied and said that I had to be approved through hometeam only and that I could take the steps forward to secure the unit. This was all last month. So my son lives with 6 other male friends in a home team owned property. They have been there for about 4 months. They have had plumbing issues from day 1. Now, in mid-December, they are billing all of the boys - the parents - for $700 for their plumbing woes. They state that its the boys' fault. However, upon further examination, it looks as if the female occupants prior to their arrival were a little careless with their products. They've scared the boys into thinking they face eviction if the bill isn't paid. I just wonder... read more

The employees at Hometeam Properties Management Company have not been receptive of our issues. Debbie, Randi and Ashley do not communicate between themselves. This creates a huge problem when 2 of the renters are told one thing from Ashley and the other 4 are told something completely different from Randi. When a $165 mistake is made and it falls on one of the college students, they refuse to admit to any wrong doing. As a matter of fact, they will laugh at the matter. I also contacted Tom D******. Son moved into apartment yesterday. Apartment had damage from previous tenant that was not repaired. Dirty, scratches floors, scuffed walls, broken blinds. Upon entering the apartment it was discovered that the previous tenant had not emptied the refrigerator. The electricity had been shut off with food still inside. This was left for several weeks. The apartment smelled like death upon entrance. Hometeam had the apartment cleaned (no repairs done). But flies and maggots remained. My son cannot use the refrigerator due to th... read more

Hometeam Properties proactively resolved all outstanding issues at ** *** **** **. We inspected the unit and in turn replaced the refrigerator, conducted a deep clean, and completed all outstanding service requests. There are currently no outstanding maintenance requests or issues at this time.

terrible customer service . Stuck with the lease , don’t bother resolving an issue because unfortunately they don’t admit their mistakes instead they were very confrontational and abrasive towards me and my roommates got not apology whatsoever , when we asked for our money back the manager was extremely rude implied it wasn’t an option and bragged how she had been to court before for that particular matter so it seems like to me they have unhappy customers frequently and have no compassion towards them , and by the way that ... read more
