This was a simple no worries no hassle problem free home buying experience. ***** was fabulous to work with!
Don't waste your time!! I was pre-approved when I made less money! And worked less hrs! When I first started I shld have saw the signs! Loan agent didn't call/email me for abt a week then the nightmare started!! After finding a home! Negotiating a great price! Appraisal-inspection fees the day b4 closing I was told - sorry we can't help u! What?? I'm never dealing with Homestar Financial again! And to add salt to the wound I lost my earnest money! ****** ****** is the worst lender in this company I do believe. He has horrible communication and when he does answer the phone he's got an attitude. Half the time he wouldn't answer my phone calls but he would answer my wife hmm that's an interesting note. As long as you're a woman he will answer I find an issue with that and homestar should do something about that. Terrible lender. Don't worry though they do have good lenders and I'm going to leave a positive review for that particular lender.

The process is extremely organized and easy, especially with their online site. We found the team to be professional and extremely responsive. Sara Dearing was awesome to work with and incredibly helpful from beginning to end. We are very pleased.

Olivia, with the Rapid City SD office, was there with us from the beginning of the closing process. Anytime we needed her, including weekend and holidays, she was always a text away and responded in a very timely fashion. I could not have asked for a more professional attentive agent! I would recommend Olivia and the Rapid City branch to anyone. I would most defiantly use them again if the need arises
