For two years I have tried to cancel my account with these people and they will not cancel it and keep changing my card 600/yr. Today I was charged another 600 dollars and they said, "its not refundable". It's billing for the upcoming year and I have received no services and yet they will not do a refund. Do Not Waste Your Money or time. These people are professionals scam artists.
Terrible! They took 599.00 from my credit card. I took a promotion for 1 year and never could understand how the platform worked. During the promotion period I called in on a recorded line to cancel the promotion subscription, they even had the wrong address I used for my business at the time. I have told them the account with them was canceled and to stop sending email reports to my email account but I'm still receiving these. They seem to not understand canceled, this is fraud them showing me as an active Realtor when I have told them I'm not active in real estate, I have changed career's.
Absolutely ridiculous! If I could give negative stars I would! I tried the service a year ago and used the product maybe once or twice. Not worth it at all. Then all of a sudden I'm charged $499! I checked through my email and noticed they tried to renew my "membership" on the 29th and it didn't go through. Then on the 4th I saw I had a charge of $499 on my bank account. I want to revise my review of Homesnap. They have resolved the issue to my satisfaction and although I will probably not use their services in the future, I would say that they made good on their word once I was able to talk with someone.
I can confirm the deceptive practices of Homesnap. I used them once in past for the $49 price and then called to cancel at end of time, which they did. However, this June I found a $599 charge on my credit card one day after the so called renewal. I have never agreed to this massive increase in price nor any. HomeSnap engages in deceptive business practices. They automatically set up my introductory membership to automatically renew without proper notice. They charged $599 to my credit card for a new membership. When I noticed it on my credit card, I immediately contacted them to cancel the membership and receive a refund. Even though it had only been two weeks since they surreptitiously charged me for the unauthorized renewal, I was told that they would not refund the charge. The product itself is valuable, but their billing/subscription setup is intentionally deceptive and needlessly difficult to cancel. When you "subscribe" to run ad campaigns, you are subscribing to run a campaign for every single new listing, open house, and sold listings. This is not at all clear or obvious when subscribing. Additionally, while you can ad new campaigns or additional funds for existing campaigns from within your online account, there is no way to DECREASE money for a campaign or cancel the campaign. I used Homesnap for several ad campaigns with no results. They later charged $168 bill for an ad campaign I did not authorize. I called Homesnap and instructed the representative to cancel the order and refund the $168. He assured me that my account was set to no longer have ad campaigns without my approval. I asked the rep to remove my credit card information from their database. Eight months later, I received a credit card charge for $168 charge. Extremely miss leading with their billing and their customer service is non existent. This company is slimy and in the business to do nothing but take your money! RUN!!
