I am Grandmother and have lived at Homecrest for 12 years. The staff is very pleasant and they treat me like I was important with great respect. I have a lot of nice neighbors. We are near shopping, doctors and close to my husbands job. Rents are reasonable and there is a swimming pool which is nice in the Summer when my grandchildren visit. I recommend Homecrest to anyone who likes the freedom of mobile home living with a little distance from your neighbors and the be able to park your car right near your home.

There are rules in this park that dont make any sense. Why cant you have a carport/garage? Why do you have to maintain your fence (paint, fix, etc.) but have to take it down if you move or sell your home? Why cant the park read the water meter so the bill doesnt fluxuate? Where is the 24 hour police patrol we used to have? Why does the lot rent go up \$15.00 per year? (It is \$445.00 as of Aug 2010) Why doesnt anyone answer emails or phone calls? The park is going to the dogs and cats...that wander around day and night. Wher... read more

Good luck having constant water or electricity. Seems they always shut it off for some reason. Sometimes all day long. Prepare to be told to clean, paint, repair or do anything they tell you to do on YOUR house or fence or anything they want. They make you move your car(s) to anywhere they want. You cannot have friends park overnight. The entire place is closed in by fences and gates, so expect to drive over 3 minutes of mazes and speed bumps to get out. Its true what the other review says about the office staff. I moved in before the background check, since i knew i would pass it anyway, and they didnt even contact me at all. I had to call them, and they where like, oh yeah, youre approved. They do set some standards to try to keep the park looking decent, but its true they do nothing to improve the park, but the lot rent goes up every year. Sturbridge, right next door, has wider streets and no speed bumps,which is nice, and overall a better looking community. The pool at H... read more
I AM NOT INPRESSED WITH THE WAY THE OFFICE STAFF CONDUCTS BUSINESS. WHEN YOU APPLY THEY TELL YOU 5-7 DAYS FOR AN APPROVAL TO MOVE IN IT TOOK ME 3 WEEKS TO GET APPROVAL TO MOVE IN. THE OFFICE STAFF HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO RUN AN OFFICE BUT I GUESS THATS WHAT YOU GET WHEN YOU ARE THE OWNERS DAUGHTER. THE STAFF ARE NASTY AND VERY UNCOPERATIVE.KIDS RUN THOUGH YOUR PROPERTY AND NOTHING IS DONE. POLICE PATROL BUT THERE STILL IS CRIME IN THE PARK.
