First bad sign was that one elevator was out of service. Took forever to get to our room. We eventually wound up taking the stairs vs waiting for the one elevator. The bedroom has a thermostat on the wall but it wasn't working. Turns out you have to control it from the unit. That is information that should be shared at check-in or they simply shouldn't have a thermostat in that room. The breakfast was very weak. First will start off that the room was set up nicely that included a microwave, refrigerator and a sink.. No issues with the cleanliness. The issue is with housekeeping and the manager Helen. After checking out I was hit with a $250 "smoking fee" which is amusing due to the fact that I did not smoke whatsoever in the room or the bathroom. If a hotel room is smoked in, the nearby rooms and the entire hallway will smell like smoke. The facilities were clean and I love the fact that they were suites. Being that it was pretty centrally located, i didn't have to go far to get foor or groceries.
