I hate to say it, but this stay had more negatives than positives. There were a few maintenance issues - the garbage disposal didn’t work, under the sink leaked and ran out onto the floor, and the thermostat stopped responding at one point. What was more frustrating was the inconsistency in communication. I reported issues to the front desk and was told notes would be made for maintenance, only to find out the next day that nothing had actually been logged. This happened twice. Not the best Home2 Suites I had to fight to get a partial refund when the power went (which wasn't their fault) but the hotel really had no fair restitution process for the guests who had no hot water, no breakfast, and very little power for 22 hours. Did I mention the hotel has electric HVAC like most hotels so there was no heat and it was in the 50s at night. Eventually, I was able to get a partial refund.
