These guys are the worst. Run as far away from them as you can. I've had nothing but problems since day one when Loan Depot notified me that they would be taking over and servicing the loan. Where to even start here, let me see: 1) Everytime I call their Customer Service, they treat me like i'm a criminal who is past due on my bills, playing a recording over and over remind me that they are a debt collector and this is an attempt to collect a debt, blah blah...ummm excuse me! I wish I had more control over who owns my mortgage. They have been nothing but a headache. My supplemental taxes that I was told was covered, wasn’t. I sent my supplemental tax documents to home point, I never received a response, instead I received an advisory saying that they would raise my rates if I didn’t pay the extra taxes. I paid and sent verification to home point... no reponse. They are impossible to get on the phone too

DO NOT get a mortgage with this company. I can never get through to customer service on the phone. Every time I call, I'm on hold for 45 minutes or more and I just give up. When I leave my phone number for them to return my call, they never do!
