A real gem! Great service and the food....hard to find a better breakfast! This is my second time to Home Plate....couldn't wait to eat here again!
Enjoyed the California scramble but I covered it in Swiss cheese. The potato carrot pancakes were a unique and pleasant experience. The waffles are tender and delicious with butter. The chicken apple sausaage is tasty but a little spicy. I enjoyed the fresh squeezed orange juice. The coffee here has a Gourmet quality. The complimentary scones were the "coup de gras", so warm and tender that I didn't need butter to enjoy them. I stayed nearby for a week while traveling on business. It was so good I ate there every morning! My favorite was the polenta cakes!
Despite having to wait (about 30 mins) with 3 children this place was worth it!! Food was so fresh and delicious!
Great food, definitely worth the wait. Be back soon.
