I was looking for a suitable caregiver for my cousin recently diagnosed with dementia. She needed more assistance that her family could provide. This company is not very good they sent out several different woman and none was capable of doing the very first 2 things on my list. They have to be ok with my cats (2) and be able to lift my wheelchair in and out of my vehicle. None of them could do that. The office staff (Drew) doesn't listen to anything you say I would say something and have to say it over 5 or 6 times before he heard anything I would say. My husband is a disabled veteran. I am his caregiver. Two opportunities for me to visit family out of state came within a short period of time. Two nurses I trust implicitly recommended Home Instead to care for my husband in my absence, when a different company who had agreed to care for him canceled just days before, citing staffing issues.
