The Waukee Home Instead team helped take care of my mom from 2020 to 2025. We started with four hours a day and transitioned to 24 hours a day. Over 5 1/2 years we interacted with many caregivers. Many developed wonderful, personal relationships with my mom. In the last year, when the St. Croix Hospice team was involved, they coordinated all activities extremely well. We could not be happier with the level of care they provided to my mother. We would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their services.
We hired Home Instead for our 87 year old aunt who was diagnosed with cancer and wanted to be home. From the beginning when we met with Britney, throughout the duration of care until the end, Home Instead caregivers went above and beyond what we had hoped for. Every caregiver provided kind, supportive care to Rita and she grew to love and appreciate so many of them. Melissa and all the staff with Home Instead have exceeded our expectations. They have made it possible for a family member to stay in his home. We are grateful for all the homecooked meals, transportation to appointments, running errands, always being available to answer questions and very helpful when anything new might arise.
