Home instead has been an incredibly amazing agency to work with. They are so communicative, understanding and extremely helpful when it comes to the care of my mom. While all the staff have been nothing short of wonderful, I would like to personally recognize Ms. Shanteria! She has truly been a God send to my mom and has helped in so many ways that I would never have even thought of. She has a wonderful spirit and her heart is in her work. My mom and I are beyond grateful for her and the entire agency as a whole!

Edit review: as you can see in her profile she says she’s employed by you….thats the concerning part. I am writing to raise serious concerns about conduct associated with an employee of Home Instead in the Cocoa, FL area. It has come to my attention that an individual identified as Lacey Renea may be using information obtained through her role in home healthcare to contact private individuals on social media (specifically Facebook Messenger), allegedly on behalf of patients. Home Instead has been a godsend for our family since early 2024. In January 2024, our elderly Mom (who turns 87 this year) fell and broke her back, was hospitalized, went through rehab and needed home care. She also suffers from low vision, some hearing loss, lymphedema, minor kidney disease and a rare condition that causes migraine headaches. She is under constant treatment from a series of doctors. Care Pros beware! Very unprofessional work experience. Overworked scheduler and an HR coordinator who needs a course on tact. Due to a family emergency I was unable to pick up my last paycheck. Per the owner I wasn't owed anything and I was not permitted to speak to accounting. I requested a copy of the paystub showing I was paid and never heard back from the owner. Anyone seeking employment where your disrespected and used this is the place for you!
