RecommendedI have used Home Helpers twice and have been blown away by the care and compassion they showed my parents. I worked with both Amy and Michelle directly. The care givers provided were exactly what my parents needed. There were a couple little hiccups in the beginning and Michelle personally handled them making everything right. I can’t recommend them enough.
I was very pleased with the intake and initial visit. But then the aide they sent out to assist my mother was extremely rude to me. She had also recently had a surgery that prevented her from doing physical tasks. I was very clear on my expectations so not sure why she was sent? The aide told me they were short staffed. RecommendedWe have had Home Helpers take care of many things for my folks for the last 7 years. It's amazing what Harriet, Vernice and Diane could get done in just a 2 hour shift. With the Corona virus we are down to just one 2 hour shift a week but boy, can Diane move! She does laundry, replaces batteries, lightbulbs, runs errands, and most importantly is so patient, kind and always cheerful. She even notices "extra" things and offers to do them. RecommendedBrian and Dominica Davis, the owners of Home Helpers, took the time to make sure my parents had the best caregivers. I could call home helpers at anytime and they would help with a schedule that needed to be changed and when we needed overnight care with only a notice of three hours. The entire team, office staff and caregivers are absolutely the best and I highly recommend Home Helpers to care for your loved ones.
