This is why I love living in EAV so much. My husband and I grabbed tacos & margaritas for our Taco Tuesday meal - everything was great.

Craving meat? Don't discount the fantastic vegan taco. Add a lovely patio plus margaritas and you get a great afternoon.

Strong drinks and decent food This is a good Mexican restaurant with decent food, strong drinks and a great patio. I went during the East Atlanta beer festival and they didn't plan well and ran out of food for a while.

Awesome Mexican Fusion Food! – Oh man, this is an amazing place to eat! Everything from the tortas to the tacos and fresh guacamole is top notch. Chef Phalen is very creative and talented and does things on his menu that you just don't see anywhere else in Atlanta. The servers are friendly and I always trust their recommendations. I also recommend this a destination place for virgin margaritas if you're pregnant but warning: you will crave them! And in case you're not pregnant, they have a HUGE selection of tequilas to choos... read more

Skip it. – I've been here a few times and never really had good food. The descriptions look amazing, but the food is bland and way overpriced. I love the patio so I kept trying to go back, but an overheard situation with a manager type person and a server sealed the deal for me. Whoever runs this place is a massive tool/ jerk. I wouldn't talk to a pile of dirt the way this person was talking to their own employee. We had good service, but the manager attitude could explain why others have trouble with the service. For totall... read more

BOO! – ordered 5 of 8 tacos. all were over dressed with some pickled thing or another. the only one that lacked proper dressing was the beef tongue, which had no onion, no lime, and virtually no cilantro....i have never been offered a tongue taco without all three. the server forgot to put in our order of guacamole, appologized when our tacos came out, and then asked if we had room for dessert before we got our guac. in his embarassment, he took all the silverware (even though we still had food), and the replacements he brou... read more

Holy Taco---DONT GO!! – Basically the food was NOT good... it was very bland... if you like real Mexican food, this is NOT the place for you... definitely not authentic... our server lied to us constantly... he was just super lazy... the atmosphere was very nice tho... very nice... the chips were super thick and greasy... I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

EAV's best margarita AND best patio – This place is a little piece of awesome in the EAV, and it’s completely worthy of your food snob love. Also, Holy Taco has got to have one of my favorite patio’s in Atlanta. It’s huge. It’s rarely completely full. It offers great people-watching. I like to try something new every time that I go because every time that I do, I end up LOVING IT. For instance, the last time we went we vowed to try something other than just guac and chips to start us off, and we fell madly in love with their... read more

Great food, great atmosphere Holy Taco has some of the best chips and queso in town. I've had tortas that are small but pack a mighty punch flavor wise. The paella is very good as well as the Cuban sandwich. You get a sizable portion. I've always had leftovers the day after dining there. Their outdoor patio gives you a chance to enjoy the weather and people watch. One of the best patios around.
