The quality of care is always phenomenal. After a serious illness, I made sure all of my doctors are on staff so time isn't wasted trying to get records. Everything can be accessed via computer.
I took my other half to the er last night for chronic back issues. He was not evalutated properly. He's also a diabetic and the nurse didn't even check his blood sugar. The ER Dr proceeded to administer 2 shots for the chronic pain without even bothering to check his sugar levels knowing that he is a diabetic! I had to move my ass and basically insult the Dr and tell her to get an attending to check his sugar levels them knowing that they had to do that in the 1st place and check his vitals. Had my surgery done here twice (in two years). Never really dealt with any other department other than the same day surgery and to say anything less than they were phenomenal would be saying the least. Everyone was on point. They knew what they were doing. I don't really love hospitals, but this would be one that I highly recommend.
I finally got in contact with Dr. Stella. Shame on Holy Name Hospital for stealing his files and telling patients he's no longer practicing, when in fact he is. That's not what Catholics do! Who ever did this should be terminated immediately! Dr Stella is the best gynecologist in the state of NJ.
My experience was excellent and great care the nurses from the 1 floor rm 125 awesome
