My husband brought me to ER at 1am due to excruciating abdominal pain. It was a pleasant experience at first but then a nurse named "Sharon"came, i was crying due to pain but she came and said jokes "that I might just be constipated" and "implying" my pain in just minor. Definitely my hospital of choice. My kids and I have experienced first hand the compassion and kindness given to patients by the physicians, physician assistants, nurses technicians, transports, front desk personnel as well as security guards. We've all been treated there on admissions and out patient basis and under all circumstances, all parties involved in our care have done everything possible to make us feel comfortable and relaxed. I have switched all my records to Holy Name since I was very unhappy with the treatment I was receiving at Hackensack Medical Center. Holy Name Hospital's new Breast Center has treated me like an individual and not a number. Being a risk patient, i am given my results immediately....and discussed them directly with the Dr. Their cancer wing is also amazing.....from the staff to the wonderful oncologist, Dr, Rivera.
