A very good option for the busy professional I took my cat here when she had an emergency tail amputation. She was treated quickly and both she and I were put at ease after a somewhat traumatic accident. They take appointments for Saturday mornings which is convenient for the working professional. The staff tends to be young and I think perhaps are more attentive because they are newly graduated from veterinary school. I did, however, see a different Vet every year and missed the continuity of single Dr for my pet. If I stil... read more

Best vet I have taken my pets to Holt for 15 years. The quality of the medical care has been fantastic. They've seen us through countless routine visits as well as some pretty serious surgery--always with a reassuring balance of compassion and honesty. We like their affordable boarding, too! Make reservations for holidays--they fill up fast! PROS: Quality practice, kind people CONS: None

Good experience I travel often for my job, and I board my dog and cat at Holt routinely. Their prices are very reasonable and I'm comfortable they're well cared-for by the doctors and staff.

Great Staff I have visited Holt Vet Clinic several times for my elderly cat and puppy. The service from each vet has been superb. They seem to always have time to answer my questions. On a couple of occasions, the vets called me personally to discuss lab results and treatments for my pets. As a plus, no appointment necessary on weekdays and Saturday appointments are very convenient!!

Horrible mistake/misdiagnosis/malpractice I took my toy fox terrier puppy there who had a severely broken leg/elbow. The vet (can't remember his name) misdiagnosed her and said it was a "sprain." A week later she needed $1,500 surgery to repair it. By then the bones had separated a lot and she fractured it more by not having it fixed in a timely manner. This vet is no longer there. Would NEVER take an animal back there. PROS: no appointment necessary (no wonder) CONS: horrible vets who do not do thorough diagnoses

eh I boarded my dog there twice, once he came back with ticks all over him and another he came back with diahreah. He has also had two sets of shots there and both experiences were wonderful. The staff is incredibly nice and my dog loves going there, I just wonder how clean their facilities are.

The Most Caring Compassionate people on the planet! This is a fantastic veterinary clinic. I have an eight year old chow-chow and a five year old chow-chow. My roommate has a 110 lb. black lab/german shepard mix. These veterinarians are patient and amazing people. The do not stereotype my chow-chows because of their breeds (my dogs are very well socialized). Additionally, I once found a stray dog and brought him in. It was a Saturday and the animal shelter was closed. There was no where else to take this dog, who was pretty ... read more

Don't board here! We boarded our two dogs here for four days, and when we picked them up, they were wet and horribly stinky. Our usually friendly adult female was completely cowered to the ground in fear, and our puppy was bouncing off the walls like this was her first time out in four days. We would strongly recommend you do not board your animals here... ours would have been better left home alone!
