I will give a synopsis of my appointment today 1/28/26 with Dr Holman Chen. I have seen Dr Chen 2 times for help with my injured left ankle from extreme compression injury from falling down slippery steps in my home about 7 years ago. This injury also tore the meniscus in my knees in which I have already had surgery. Great surgeon
Dr Chan was professionally and explain the medical problem clear.
Went into great detail on my x-rays from ER. Explained I have 2 choices. He can cast my ankle and wait 4-6 weeks to see if it properly healed( and if not then operate) , or have surgery where he inserts a plate and screws and when I wake up from surgery I will have a walking boot on and can walk 1 day later. No choice to make. Went out of his way to arrange surgery next day.
