Get directionsWell it looks like the other comments are what I was going to say. This place sucks & doesn’t care about people that have mental illness. Please do NOT take your loved one’s to this place.
HORRIBE PLACE! The staff is rude and the people answering th ephone need trained. Then again, maybe they are trained to nor forward calls because no one wants to answer questions and be accountable. Better to all hide in their offices and play on the internet. I'm filing a complaint with the Senate (this place is under investigation already); I encourage others to do the same.
This place needs closed and all people working there should get back what they have given to others. I read these reviews and could not believe this place is still open. I received information my adult son may be a patient (which scared me already knowing the reputation of this place). I called and asked to speak to a social worker. The operator (or whoever is answering the phone) wants to know a lot of information before forwrading your call. Really? None of her damn business! She then told me how hypa laws prevented h... read more
This hospital is a joke. If I could give it negative stars, it would need negative infinity. The staff will make fun of patients, cuss at patients, even THREATEN patients. If patients are fighting, they will either stand back and watch or just yell at the patients fighting. The staff will not believe a patient if the patient states that they have an invisible disability. Staff ignore seizure and tic disorder triggers and continue to do behaviors (bright lights in the face, touching patient without their knowledge) with ZERO... read more
You guys can hear! Report to the NC SBI what is going on. We are all being hurt and I have been told thru the vent in my home per my report to the nurse, that devices need to be powered off that aren't attached to the main breakers. The SBI did a training a couple yrs ago for this very thing. I need y'all to step up bc I have a background in Health and Human Services, no degree, my victimization mimics a mental health condition and I'm sure my urine screen can prove that. I'm Jennifer k Jonas and I am desperate to have... read more
EVERYTHING everybody else is saying i couldn’t agree more. Inhumane behavior is very present. Place, employees, management needs to be hold accountable.
A year ago, I stayed in this hospital for 72 hours. During that time, I received no counseling. I asked for literature on AA or Al-Anon and they said they did not have any. I spent my time coloring and watching TV and biding my time until I could leave. The experience was not helpful and I was grateful that I was healthy enough to leave and worried about the people who were not and were not getting any care for their issues. Thank God I had a therapist of my own to see when I got out. Not everyone is that fortunate. Th... read more
My brother was discharged with no medication and with no transportation to obtain medication, food, or medical treatment. The Asst. Director of Clinical Services spoke glowingly of an ACT Team that would bring food to his home, a psychiatrist who would provide in-home appointments, and a case worker who would assist him in obtaining all needed services and assistance with living on his own. None of this materialized - he was simply discharged and dumped. The discharge planner did not seem to know how to fulfill her duties - ... read more
I feel that Holly Hill does not provide adequate assistance to patients who are in crisis when they are admitted to the hospital. My adult child was involuntarily committed after being seen at the ER of another hospital . She had no one to represent her when she was filling out paperwork and had no personal belongings, such as her wallet where she keeps insurance cards. She was not in a sound enough mental state to have filled out or signed any forms whenever she was sent here. Now there is a $10,000+ bill that is expected t... read more
