This hospital is a joke. If I could give it negative stars, it would need negative infinity. The staff will make fun of patients, cuss at patients, even THREATEN patients. If patients are fighting, they will either stand back and watch or just yell at the patients fighting. The staff will not believe a patient if the patient states that they have an invisible disability. Staff ignore seizure and tic disorder triggers and continue to do behaviors (bright lights in the face, touching patient without their knowledge) with ZERO... read more

You guys can hear! Report to the NC SBI what is going on. We are all being hurt and I have been told thru the vent in my home per my report to the nurse, that devices need to be powered off that aren't attached to the main breakers. The SBI did a training a couple yrs ago for this very thing. I need y'all to step up bc I have a background in Health and Human Services, no degree, my victimization mimics a mental health condition and I'm sure my urine screen can prove that. I'm Jennifer k Jonas and I am desperate to have... read more

EVERYTHING everybody else is saying i couldn’t agree more. Inhumane behavior is very present. Place, employees, management needs to be hold accountable.

A year ago, I stayed in this hospital for 72 hours. During that time, I received no counseling. I asked for literature on AA or Al-Anon and they said they did not have any. I spent my time coloring and watching TV and biding my time until I could leave. The experience was not helpful and I was grateful that I was healthy enough to leave and worried about the people who were not and were not getting any care for their issues. Thank God I had a therapist of my own to see when I got out. Not everyone is that fortunate. Th... read more

My brother was discharged with no medication and with no transportation to obtain medication, food, or medical treatment. The Asst. Director of Clinical Services spoke glowingly of an ACT Team that would bring food to his home, a psychiatrist who would provide in-home appointments, and a case worker who would assist him in obtaining all needed services and assistance with living on his own. None of this materialized - he was simply discharged and dumped. The discharge planner did not seem to know how to fulfill her duties - ... read more

I feel that Holly Hill does not provide adequate assistance to patients who are in crisis when they are admitted to the hospital. My adult child was involuntarily committed after being seen at the ER of another hospital . She had no one to represent her when she was filling out paperwork and had no personal belongings, such as her wallet where she keeps insurance cards. She was not in a sound enough mental state to have filled out or signed any forms whenever she was sent here. Now there is a $10,000+ bill that is expected t... read more

daughter has been there three times and all three times it has been not good I do not know what staff Susan h received but the staff I have encountered had bad attitudes from admission to ending including the doctors there, the staff tries to be nice but you can see right through them, they don't want to answer your questions nor do they want to be bothered with you are the questions. the doctors do not listen to the patients and they do whatever they want to do to get rid of you. my daughter kept telling the doctors that th... read more

I am the mother of a recent patient. Although I never entered, I can’t begin to express my appreciation for the wonderful staff that I encountered. From admission staff to counseling, I was treated with compassion and caring. It’s difficult being the mother of a patient there, but the staff continually supported me with true concern and empathy...sometimes identifying themselves as a mother too! My thanks to Jasmine and all of those on 1E who helped my son. Upon discharge my son stated that the staff and food were great. His... read more

From the switchboard operator, to the financial office to all the staff on the inpatient side of the hospital, they should all be fired immediately and replaced by actual human beings. To say they are rude and nasty is an understatement. They seem to delight in traumatizing patients who are already mentally fragile. My wife was mistreated twice at this place and while there, she saw another patient receive the same deplorable treatment. The outpatient, day hospital staff were very nice, but everyone else did their best to tr... read more
