This and every portion of MUSC and its cancer and Neuroscience divisions, have been absolutely amazing as far as their treatment, care, nursing staff, and overall experience that we had. The level of care and professionalism that was taken with regards to my wife was nothing less than top notch!
My pulmonologist there, Dr Plasis, explains everything and I feel comfortable with him taking care of my breathing issues! All the staff are amazing!
The people at Hollings (Doctors, nurses etc) are the most knowledgeable people I have met. They see to it that you are comfortable, know where you're going and which hall or elevator to take. All faces have smiles and are all eager to help.
My husbands team of doctors are extremely excellent and God has allowed them to work miracles on my husband. I would recommend them to anyone.
My brother's team of doctors and their nurses, Dr. Cachia and his nurse Ellen in oncology and Dr. Vandergrift his neurosurgeon are the kindest and most compassionate medical personnel I've ever dealt with. This is a scary journey and they have been there for us every step of the way. They coordinated all off his appts., explained everything thoroughly, lent a shoulder to cry on and were never ever "too busy" to help.
