This rating is not for the acupuncture services — Eric was excellent and provided great care for my back pain. This review is specifically for the billing department. It has been over a month and a half since my first visit, yet not a single claim has been submitted to my insurance. Despite this, I was asked to pay upfront for 3 or 6 visits, which is not standard practice when insurance billing is involved. I wanted to share my honest experience. The acupuncture treatment itself was average, but my primary concern was the cleanliness and overall professionalism of the office. During my visit, I observed acupuncture needles on the floor in the treatment area, which immediately raised concerns about sanitation. I also noticed that the cupping cups did not appear to be properly cleaned or sanitized before use. I hurt my lower back while playing ball and losing my balance trying to catch a shot. A friend recommended Dr. Xu’s clinic, and my first visit was a great experience. Dr. Xu was patient, attentive, and took the time to listen carefully before creating both a short-term and long-term treatment plan for me. Dr. Eric Hsu has been very helpful in my healing journey, especially with healing from some challenging sciatica I had for a good portion of the year last year.
