First of all when I checked in I was presented with room with no window- which was covered with black paper! The bathroom had mold on the ceiling! When I asked to change rooms I was offered one with still mold in the bathroom and dirty towels! There were homeless people in the parking garage doing drugs. I am angry that this is the way you threat platinum members at your hotel! I payed 40k points for a stay that was comperable to 3rd world hostel not holiday inn.
The staff was absolutely wonderful! They were so accommodating when our plans changed on us during the day. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and a block away from the Orpheum Theatre.

The hotel is expensive but not at all value for what is being paid!
I found the reception staff uninformed and unhelpful. On checking in we were given minimal information about the facilities as the reception staff seemed preoccupied. When we asked, the following morning, where to go for breakfast, we were rudely pointed to the banquet room as if we should have known better.
