Good luck if you’re building with Holiday Builders. They will do the bare minimum to get you to close and then don’t give a crap about the quality or doing what they say they will do. They only care about getting their money and definitely not about the quality of the home or their integrity or just treating people right. I would NEVER recommend or sell one of their homes to someone else.
If I could put zero stars, I would. My husband and I decided on Holiday Builders mostly due to the fact that we were promised a high level of communication throughout the entire building process. There were many builders with comparable houses and prices, but the promises of communication set them apart. BUYERS BE AWARE OF HOLIDAY BUILDERS. DO NOT USED HOLIDAY BUILDERS, IT WILL BE A NIGHTMARE. The worst company. They don't honor their words. I have been waiting over 7 months for them to repaired a tile they removed to conduct moisture testing, and every day Bob R. said he's going to send someone to my house to fixed it, and here it's Dec. and nothing, and Bob don't lie about you have been in contact with me the home owner, you're a sorry piece of human being. Don't buy Holiday Home in Port Port Charlotte Florida ! I went to contract w deposit May 2021 with the promise it would be completed in a year with no price increases. In November we reached about about an update and never got a response. February 2022, we reached out again, no response. the very next day we get an EMAIL, not a phone call saying they need another 35k to proceed due price increases or they're cancelling our contact. left really ugly, bent trees. The bones of the house is pretty good, probably had a good crew on that given day. Roofing done well, brick work better than others in the neighborhood, but wouldn't pass the test of a true layman. Windows decent, drywall and paint … will leave you shaking your head be prepared to clean the pain off your floors because the finish cleaning crew is terrible. I should have gone with Lisa Dunbar in VE Estate homes- they have meetings before & during your house being built to make sure you’re happy & to make any changes. While still looking, I fell in love with a layout with Holiday Builders but wish I would have read Holiday Builders reviews- The real ones NOT he cute ones they post on their site- OR hired a actual builder. HORRIBLE!!! this is just a money making scam. they upcharge everything and fail to deliver even the basics. doors and widows leak and they refuse to fix anything. roof looks off. the entire home looks like a cheap imitation of what they tell you that you are going to get.
One star so far. It's been ten months after signing the contract and permits are still not picked up from City of North Port. My land is still not cleared. I was told that my house will be done under one year. False! I am worrying If they ever will start to build my house. Communication is very poor, there is no management to talk to. Don’t buy from them. Will. It honor their warranty. Will find every way of getting out of it. Walls not vertical. Counter tops delaminating. Floors pulling up. Rugs destroyed. BY leaks. Yes they came and fixed some not all. Have to keep on them. Had to call Vice President of company.
