You may call it a huge cave but the Christensen family called it home. This 5000 sq ft cave-home comprises of fourteen marvellous rooms and other attractions. Including a zoo of exotic animals, an artwork exhibition by Lyle Nichols and a gift shop, this unique home is a fantastic work of art. Impossible to miss, this humongous structure, modeled right inside the Utah canyons, is located along Highway 191. Built over a period of a century, this historic home is open to public all year long and is an absolute must visit.

This is a delightful side trip when in Moab. The staff is friendly and informative, and the history of the property is fascinating.

if you want a respectable and a funny tour guide for the hole-in-the-rock speak to Lily she'll make it worth your while with that being said all the jewelry and the whole area is quite unique and full of History I'm ashamed I never went there before
