Hola Arepa is named for Arepas, a Colombian and Venezuelan-style flatbread made from flour or ground maize. It is aptly named because it specializes in delicious South and Central American street food, and, of course, its signature item Arepa. This restaurant has won several awards and garnered favorable reviews in local and national publications. It is so popular that its food truck runs along Portland's streets serving Latin American fare. Menu highlights include Yucca Fries, Shredded Beef & Plantain, Chimichurri Chicken a... read more

Just two of us went. They were busy but got sat real quick. We each got a diff arepa and two aps and was not let down on any of it! We will be back esp since patio looks fun for summertime. Can’t believe it’s been open this long and wed never been!!
Five stars. Always. The food here is straight fire for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don’t sleep on the cocktails either. They’re good enough that you could come just to drink, though I rarely have the strength to. Damn you, yucaaaaaa!

So much yum. The place is just perfect and the food is amazing. Try the yuca fries and any of the arepas.
Hola Arepa is a must for anyone that likes “Nuevo Latino” food. The dishes are packed with such great flavors! Try the Arepas if it’s your first visit but everything on the menu is great.

I ordered food to pick up and the woman who answered acted like I was an inconvenience and hung up before I even got to ask when it would be ready. Upon arrival I stood in front of 2 workers who were just chit chatting for at least 10 minutes before I had to Interrupt them to ask for my food. Which was now cold. Very disappointing considering I paid 40 dollars. The reason I took it to go is because the last time I sat and ate there, the s... read more
Hola Arepa is my very favorite restaurant. I️ have never eaten anything there I️ didn’t like. I️ wish I️ could eat there everyday! I️ love the staff and environment and every time I️ can bring a new friend to Hola we end up coming back again and again. If I️ could give this place more than five stars I️ would.
Best food I've ever had. No joke. Go there. Eat things.
