This is one of my favorite spots in Houston. The service is consistently great, the atmosphere is fun and laid back, and their brown rice is some of the best I've ever had.

Started out with excellent coffee. So many things on the menu to choose from...I chose the fruit salad, my husband had the fire roasted burger and fries, my son had chicken enchiladas. Everything was scrumptious!! I didn't catch her name, but our server was knowledgeable, sweet, and attentive. I love the atmosphere and will definitely make a special trip back to Houston one weekend just so I can try the brunch Turkey Benedict!!! Thanks for a wonderful lunch, y'all!!!

“One does not simply (write a review )...lol” you have to try it yourself! The burgers are on point! As is the rest of the food! Loved the mead! The ambiance is a true tribute to all things Tolkien and Hobbit... you half expect Frodo and crew to come strolling through the door to order a... yes merry ... they come in pints... lol
My aunt and I just tried to eat at this establishment (table 50), outside and we literally had to leave because the service from the waiter was so bad . The time of our departure was 550pm . We asked for water four times, never received water. Champagne on the menu was unavailable with no legitimate reason. The server was unable to describe or identify a hoppy beer. The server was generally unhelpful/rude. He stated that the restaurant is always changing the beers and he could not "keep up". We ended up getting the appetizer... read more

This can cause some of menu items to run out (like with the champagne), and food preparation to take a bit longer than usual.
