My granddaughter's baby shower was a total success thanks to the folks at the Hobbit Cafe. I've been going there since the 1970's when they opened on S. Shepherd. I love that they've maintained their funky vibe and was so pleased that my girl chose my favorite restaurants or her event. Amazing decoration and great vibes from this colorful little gem of a place. The Hobbit wrap and the Salmon burger were outstanding!!! Big portions and amazing taste. Definitely recommend the Smokey Mountain Strawberry Smoothie (Strawberry + Honey + Ice). Delicious ��

How I've never heard of this place before baffles me! Such a great atmosphere, and our server, Andy, was absolutely phenomenal! The food was delicious, and reasonably priced. Thank you to the folks at The Hobbit Cafe for making the first stop on our adventure day memorable!

As a huge Tolkien fan, I was instantly drawn to the name of the place. Once we arrived, I went into full geek mode about all of the decor and the menu items named after different Hobbit references. As for the food, I got the Dwalin: a curry chicken salad sandwich. Let me tell you what… it was TO DIE FOR!! Honestly my favorite chicken salad I have ever had in my life, and I’ve had a lot! I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the Houston area!
