Be careful if you’re getting any exams done here. I’m now being charged by a doctor I’ve never even seen. Apparently, they contract outside physicians to read exam results—but that was never made clear to me beforehand. My primary doctor, who ordered the exam, is fully capable of reviewing the results, so this additional charge feels unnecessary and misleading. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hoag Health Center, Genetic Testing in Irvine. At the time of testing, I was explicitly told that my out-of-pocket cost would not exceed $395.
