We never received a single bill from Hoag (via snail mail, via email, via online portal, etc.) and they sent to debt collection without any context. No idea what we ultimately are even paying for. Incredibly poor communications and stress inducing, and so typical for a D-average healthcare facility ultimately that pours money into the beauty of its buildings vs. actual healthcare. We will never use Hoag again. Do not trust our family members to this, nor would we recommend to any friends/family.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hoag Health Center, Genetic Testing in Irvine. At the time of testing, I was explicitly told that my out-of-pocket cost would not exceed $395. However, I was later shocked to receive a bill for $945—more than double the quoted amount! I reached out to financial services numerous times in an effort to resolve this issue.
