As someone who (up until recently) has owned properties in HOA's managed by HOA management, and as a broker that helps buyers and sellers..... if you are buying a home in a neighborhood with HOA covenants, make sure you know who manages it. This HOA management services currently has a 1.9 out of 5 for providing extremely poor service in my opinion. They manage the lawn care wheee we live and the lawn service they hired hasn’t mowed our backyard in many many weeks. After numerous called to complain and try to rectify this problem, the problem still hasn’t been resolved. I’ve attached a short video clip to show just how bad it is. This company does NOT communicate with homeowners unless they are scouting about for infractions. We have been over a year and a half having financial accountability from them and they have NOT scheduled regular meetings with homeowners. DO NOT HIRE THEM. If they don’t provide financial reports who knows what they are doing with the money!!! Also against Kansas law for HOAs
HOA management likes to harass certain people/homes. I get a complaint letter for my camper sitting in my driveway for 3 days to clean up and test everything after sitting in storage for the winter. Before that I get letter about my trash can sitting in front of my garage for 5 days because snow made it very difficult to put in the back yard. But yet my neighbor hasn't had grass, only weeds for a lawn for the last 12 years.
