This hospital and there customer care has declined, extremely racist and unempathetic over the years I have lived down the shore. Came to ER with my mom for her back, she’s had 4 surgeries here on both hips, suffers from arthritis and is going down hill after the doctors worked on her here. She couldn’t even get a gurney to get in the department as she stated she couldn’t sit upright numerous times to all nurses. My doctor sent me there to rule out a gastric bleed. They ultrasounded my: Liver Kidney Gall bladder Spleen Endoscopied: My esophagus My stomach My upper small intestine Do you think the resident ordered a stool sample? NOPE. 25 HOURS worth of profitable tests... No stool sample. When I ASKED, why no one ordered a stool sample, the overly aggressive resident told me she did indeed order one. The funny part? Inquired about visiting my mom and bringing my son that she's requesting to see and she's not allowed to see him due to his age which is 9 He was allowed to see his grandma on my wife's side when she was in the hospital with kidney failure and it was also in the Hackensack group Its a little disappointing when my mom is asking to see her grandson
I went to the er on Tues. July 14th for an accident involving extreme knee pain, chest pain and very bad bruises on my left eye.Long story short , I was there for 7.5 hours waiting for test results of xrays and ct scan. I was in pain and had very little sleep, and hadn't eaten since 5 am. they kept coming at me with the bp cuff, saying my bp was high.When another dr came in and said he was going to take it manually, I said :NO, I want to go home".
