Captain Kley and crew are dedicated and knowledgeable fishermen. Special thanks to Skipper, Sawyer, and the young deckhand who made it possible for me to catch my first trophy bluefin. The tri-tip steak dinner was excellent and a great way to finish up the trip.
Great time caught some ahi and aku limits of fish for 17 men
24 people on the Sea Adventure 80 caught 16 fish on a 1.5 day charter. Basically, trolling all day looking for yellow fin. Food was average. Why not make sushi for lunch or dinner? When we got back, Looked at hm fishing report and they had it at 25 Yellow tail and 15 skipjacks. I called and let them know it was incorrect and could send them a picture, but they weren't interested. That's false advertising to me. I won't be back!
Yesterday my family of four went out for a half day on the Premier. It was absolutely perfect. The deckhands Austin and Tyler were on top of everything. They were so kind and patient with my two children. Anytime we needed anything they were right there. We had such an amazing time, we booked again today. Same fabulous experience. The crew of the Premier is outstanding. Austin is incredible. We cannot wait to go again. We all caught fish, and the cutest part was my 10 winning the jackpot. So we book 2 days trip 9-28 on the constitution. Our game plan was to load up on the 10-15lb yellowfin for the 1st day. 2nd day will be chasing big bluefin at grey light, then big yellowtail at SCI. Sounds good right? First day we drove around all day long trolling. The. Spent more time driving around then fishing, paid to go into Mexico and didn't go into Mexico. Nobody on the boat caught any fish at all and they didn't post our trip online so they could keep a high fish count. It was just false advertising they told me it's the best time of the year and it's already the end of the season. I paid 75$ dollars to fish out of Oxnard last week and it was only a few miles away from we're h&m landing took us for 245$.
