A beautifully striking architectural masterpiece dating back to the early 20th Century, the Park Inn Hotel is the only surviving hotel designed by famed American architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. Located in downtown Mason City, the Park Inn Hotel has been restored and is now a boutique hotel. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972, tours of the hotel are available.

Overall our stay at the Park Inn was great. It is old, and it has its quirks, but the experience is worth thr minor issues. The architecture and decor fit beautifully for a FLW building. Each floor has public areas to explore that add to the immersion in FLW. Loved it all. Yes. Some of the furniture is a bit older, and the floor in our room sloped 4" from windows to doors, and the stairs need to be taken with caution (I'm 6'5" and my shoulder hits the overhang from 3rd to 2nd floor), and even the front desk area has a 6'5" c... read more

We met our siblings there for a weekend. We got the suite on 3rd floor. Great window views, entire hotel was beautiful— we had to w Best time!!

This experience could’ve been substantially better the rooms weren’t bad however, the first time we flushed the toilet in our room it began flooding. They moved us to another room eventually. The woman at the front desk wanted to do something nice for us as an apology but ultimately the manager arrived and downplayed the situation. It felt as if she was almost inconvenienced by having to move us to a room where we could flush the toilet. I wouldn’t return and hopefully in the future the manager is trained a bit on the hospit... read more
