The food was delicious. The chicken plate was nice and spicy with soft potatoes, super savory. The hippo bread was made fresh with a butter cinnamon spread that made them taste like cinnamon rolls! The duck ragu was meaty and filling. The pasta was perfectly al dente and the duck was flavorful. Could use more cheese, but that's just because I love cheese. We had a lot of fun here. It felt relaxed and sophisticated at the same time. The waiter was very nice and the food was great generally although personally I felt the balance of acid and fats was a little unbalanced in all dishes - but maybe it was an off day as the food really was excellent apart from some minor tweaking.
