I am from Virginia. I visited here 3 days in a role. The livers were so good I am in the hospital for slapping my Moma lol. I surely will be back everytime I am in Jacksonville.
The food was well worth the wait. The employees were very personable and friendly.
Hip Hop Chicken has the worst service I put and PAID for my order 24 hours ahead , for a repass & still had to wait 45 minutes for my order when i ask for the manager she said he did work on Saturday WTF, it was 101 people in this place. 1 cook was working his ass off, 1 cook look like he didn't need a job and then the 3rd one was just looking at the other 2 that was doing something. I was going to use them for my nonprofit Handbag Handout (Ladiesof Legends ) but i need something i depend on to represent my organization.
horrible service,.,, weed seeds on the floor in the bathroom, bug in the lemonade.. customer service was horrible, girl had a attitude, ILL NEVER GO BACK.. its ghetto and ratchett!! Ill stick with Tunis...
Great food, but horrible service. This is definitely not a fast food restaurant. Be prepared to wait about 30 min before your food is ready - even in the drive thru. The also rarely have ranch for the wings. I was offered tartar sauce instead. LOL
I heard about the great food so I traveled to the northside. Didn't even get to taste because the order waiting at the pick up window was not mine. I repeat my order to the guy at the register and he gives me the total again. I asked if it was ready, he sd "oh, it will be only 7 mins". But I have been waiting over 40 mins and the order you have ready isn't mine? My order was never even started? No apology or empathy was given. I just sd never mind and drove off. Vey disappointed �.
Had to wait at least 45 min for my food to go, ordered Ticket 303. 7/22/16. What's up with that? Did not want to take my money at first then made me wait until everyone else got their food. You call white people raciest? Did they put white on my ticket???

Hip Hop Chicken is the absolute best. The fried fish, gizzard, liver and coleslaw is delicious without a doubt! My husband Loves your wings.... Soul Food and customer service at its best!
